I see God working through me when I teach. He makes the connection with the children. I pray before class starts that the Holy Spirit would fill me and I would be able to reach the children where they need me. It’s amazing to be able to see when a child learns something new, they have that spark and joy as their eyes light up! I try to keep the children excited and build their confidence so they can learn and retain new skills. I want them to keep the knowledge they gain and be able to use it later.
These children are going to be parents, leaders in our community, they are our future! Placing Biblical Truths into their lives will strengthen them and help guide them. I want to help them grow on a spiritual level so they can see they have a part in God’s plan. We look for God in everything we learn.
