Our Philosophy of Admission

Family Life Academy is open to anyone interested in securing a Christian education, whom the school finds qualified for admission and who agrees (and whose parents agree) that he or she shall abide by Family Life Academy rules, expectations, policies, and procedures. It must always be understood that attendance at Family Life Academy is a privilege and not a right. This privilege must be forfeited by any student who does not conform to the school’s standards of conduct and/or who is unwilling to adjust to our environment.

All students must be convinced they want to attend Family Life Academy and agree to honestly and wholeheartedly apply themselves to “present yourself to God as one approved” (2 Timothy 2:15, NIV). They also agree to be courteous and respectful to their peers, staff, faculty, and other daily associates.

Students will be considered for admission in the order in which their applications are received, with preference given to those with siblings already attending Family Life Academy.

Twenty students will constitute a full elementary or middle school class and a waiting list will be established at that time.

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?

We recommend applying as early as possible before the year of desired enrollment.
Begin by scheduling a tour and filling out the application packet.

A non-refundable $75 application fee is required for each application (excluding military families). Are you also seeking financial assistance? Financial Aid

Christian Education is more affordable than you think!
90% of our FLA families receive scholarships!

At Family Life Academy we work hard to keep our tuition affordable. However, in these tough economic times, we understand that choosing to put your child in a private school can come down to a financial decision. There are many different School Tuition Organizations (STO’s) that award scholarships to children in private schools. Below is a list of these STO’s that students at Family Life Academy have received scholarships. Thank you for considering Family Life Academy and please do not hesitate to contact Diane Yeager or Michele Aguilar at 520-296-8989 with any questions.

Scholarship Opportunities

  • Expands educational opportunities for eligible students outside of the public school system
  • Provides public funding that can be used for a wide variety of educational expenses
  • Pays for private school tuition, educational therapies, tutoring, and more
  • CANNOT BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH STO SCHOLARSHIPS

The members of the congregation of Christ Community Church have made tax credit donations for scholarships to be awarded to students attending Family Life Academy through this STO for many years. We encourage families attending FLA to apply for these scholarships at CSF. You are required to fill out an online Confidential Financial Services (CFS) form at www.Benefaq.com Family Life Academy’s school number is 68989, and there is a $35 processing fee. You will also need to fill out a CSFA Student/School Joint Scholarship Application form for each child enrolled and return the forms to the school office.

If you have questions about the Confidential Financial Services online application call

This STO offers several scholarship options including:

  • Individual & PLUS Scholarships: You can ask family and friends who are Arizona residents to make an AZ tax credit contribution recommending your child receive the funds in a scholarship (less 10% in administration fees). They will receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when they file their AZ income taxes. Applications are available online.  Check with IBE for deadlines on applications.
  • Corporate Scholarships: children who are incoming Kindergarteners or switching from public to private school (in the first 100 days) may qualify for this income-based scholarship. Please see the online application for income caps and details, or call IBE.
  • Disabled/Displaced Child Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to children who have applied for Disabled/Displaced eligibility with the Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR).

This STO is based out of Chandler, AZ.  Each year, FLA has a handful of students who receive scholarships from this STO. What makes this STO unique is that it asks for a written narrative about your student and welcomes letters of recommendation as well. Please check their website for the current year’s scholarship application deadlines.

Arizona income-based scholarship values: The maximum value of annual income-based scholarships is set by the state. For the 23-24 school year, the max is $6100.00 for grades K-8. AAA goes one step further and awards scholarships for 3 years. This can also be combined with other STO funding.
