Spiritual Life

Faith at the Heart of Learning

At Family Life Academy, spiritual formation isn’t just part of the schedule – it’s at the core of everything we do. From Bible lessons in the classroom to weekly chapel and opportunities for service, we seek to help every student grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and see the world through the lens of Scripture.

We believe students are not only called to know God’s Word but also to live it out in their homes, schools, and communities. That’s why faith is woven through every subject, every activity, and every relationship at FLA.

Spiritual Life in Action

1

Daily Devotions

Every class begins the day with prayer and devotion, reminding students that God’s Word is the foundation for all learning.
2

Weekly Chapel

Students join together each week for worship, prayer, and teaching designed to help them know and love Jesus more deeply. Chapel is a joyful time where students experience unity, encouragement, and inspiration.
3

Bible Integration in Every Subject

From math to science to literature, teachers help students see how God’s truth applies to all areas of life, shaping a Biblical worldview that lasts a lifetime.
4

Service & Outreach Opportunities

Students are encouraged to live out their faith by serving others - learning that following Christ means loving people in tangible ways.
5

Mentorship & Relationships

With small class sizes and close connections, teachers model Christ-like character and disciple students through everyday interactions.

Why It Matters

Our desire is that every graduate of Family Life Academy would:

  • Know the unconditional love of Christ
  • Be confident in their identity and value as children of God
  • Develop a Biblical worldview to guide their decisions
  • Live out their faith with compassion, integrity, and courage

Walking Together in Faith

At Family Life Academy, we believe parents are the first and most important spiritual influence in a child’s life. Our role is to come alongside you, in partnership with your church, to encourage, equip, and reinforce what’s being taught at home. When parents, church, and school all work together, students don’t just learn about God - they experience His presence and are guided to live out His calling in their daily lives.
