I am from Tucson, raised here and in Alaska. I went to school at Grand Canyon University and it was there where I truly did find my purpose, and while working at Family Life Academy, I found my calling to work with children and teach, whatever that looked like I wasn’t sure but I knew it was where God wanted me to be. As a young Christian, I did not understand much about God until I grew older and I had a special adult in my life who taught me about God’s love for me and how He wanted me to know Him.
As I have gotten to know Him, I have been blessed with the opportunity of him calling me to work with children and teach them about His love for them. Looking back at my childhood, I can see God was molding me from the beginning as I was a play teacher at my grandmother’s home daycare. What I love about working with children the most, is their genuine transparent view of the world. They see what we forget to see as adults and as I teach them, they too are teaching me.
